Abstract
The Islamic Revolution of Iran, beyond a mere political transformation, emerged as a "civilizational revolution." This study aims to identify the strategic patterns of Islamic civilization-building within the intellectual framework of the Supreme Leader of Iran, employing a systematic thematic analysis method. The statistical population includes his statements and documents from 1989 to 2023, with purposive sampling based on the concepts of "Islamic civilization-building," "strategic patterns," and "The Second Phase of the Revolution." The findings indicate that the Leader's civilizational thought rests upon seven pillars: spirituality, rationality, knowledge, justice, morality, independence, and unity, presented within the theory of the "New Islamic Civilization." This theory, while critiquing Western civilization, offers a global response to spiritual and moral crises. To realize these pillars, operational patterns such as Resistance Economy, the Knowledge Production Movement, the Islamic Lifestyle, and Islamic Unity have been articulated. The "Second Phase of the Revolution" statement provides a roadmap for transitioning from system-building to civilization-building and introduces youth as the principal architects. This thought, by synthesizing Islamic foundations with an analysis of global conditions, offers a dynamic framework for reviving Islamic civilization in the twenty-first century and, emphasizing self-belief and scientific endeavor, delineates an independent path for the Muslim world.
