Abstract Abstract
The “Second Step of the Islamic Revolution” statement issued by the Supreme Leader in 2018 outlines a strategic framework for the continuation and deepening of the Islamic Revolution in the coming decades. In this civilizational document, the “Islamic lifestyle” is introduced not only as a moral recommendation, but also as a fundamental component in realizing a new Islamic civilization and ensuring the continuity of the revolutionary identity of society. The present study, using an analytical-descriptive approach, explains the position and mechanism of developing the Islamic lifestyle within the framework of the second step of the revolution. The findings show that the Islamic lifestyle, relying on the foundations of faith knowledge and based on the principle of the mutual influence of behavior and belief, plays a strategic role in institutionalizing religious values, transferring the identity capital of the revolution to the younger generation, and confronting the cultural invasion of the West. It also becomes clear that the continuation of the Islamic Revolution depends, more than structural changes, on changes in individual and social life patterns. Accordingly, the development of the Islamic lifestyle as the cultural foundation of the second step of the revolution will be a condition for the realization of a society based on justice, spirituality, and human dignity.
